What do I do?
I’m a spiritual practitioner, consciousness researcher and author. Inspired by my mentor and based on my own experiences, I investigate and write about a particular type of so-called eye floaters (muscae volitantes). Eye floaters are generally known as vitreous opacities. I challenge the exclusivity of this ophthalmological view and shed light on the wider cultural, art historical, and spiritual dimensions of floaters.

What do I aim to achieve with my work?
Providing an alternative view on eye floaters, I seek to contribute to a world, in which individuals let guide themselves by their inner light. For spiritual practitioners of all kinds, I suggest that this light can be seen in our own eye floaters, and that floaters may be taken as a meditation object. Furthermore, my work offers people who feel disturbed by their floaters a way to cope with them. Finally, by challenging the medical view on floaters, I invite science to do more careful investigation and differentiation of floater types.
