What do I do?

Enquiring extensively, I collect and process information about the entoptic phenomenon of eye floaters (mouches volantes, vitreous opacitiy) and make these available on my web pages, my newsletter and articles. My readers receive insight into the medical, historical and cultural dimensions of eye floaters.
Moreover, against the background of my personal experiences and the teachings of seer Nestor (see intro) living in the Swiss Emmental, I show the spiritual meaning of eye floaters. For this purpose, I discuss the various relationships of this phenomenon both to modern scientific knowledge and to known religious and spiritual traditions.
The presentation of the information and my interpretations are always separated; the readers are given the possibility to form an opinion of their own. Moreover, the references in my articles offer further and more detailed information to interested readers.

What do I aim to achieve with my work?

No other phenomenon is at the same time so close to us and so unknown. The medical explanation is arguable since it shows some haziness and inconsistencies. My articles aim to take remedial action here. Ophthalmology and psychiatry receive impulses through my work to investigate the eye floaters more deeply, to integrate the view of the patient more adequately, and, therefore, to avoid false diagnosis.
People who feel restrained by eye floaters will find an alternative consideration of these entoptics in my approach. In some cases, the combination of education and alternative interpretation can prevent cost-intensive psychiatric or risky medical treatment. Moreover, open-minded readers get the possibility of understanding their eye floaters as a meditation object and integrating them into their personality or consciousness development. My work, therefore, makes an active contribution against the physically, intellectually and socially problematic consequences of a one-sided materialistic worldview.
